Subject: With respect to transactions transmitted from the Taiwan Depository and Clearing Corporation’s Bills Clearing system to the CBC Interbank Funds Transfer System for settlement, the CBC will continue to charge settlement fees at 50% discount (i.e. payer bank and payee bank need to pay NT$ 9 each) for a period of 3 months. From October 1, 2004, normal fee schedule will resume. Explanations: From October 1, 2004, the CBC will charge the payer bank and payee bank NT$ 17 each, except for pay-out transactions settled before noon, which will be charged at NT$ 9.
